Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2013 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work A Cat with her Kittens by Charles van den Eycken. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,500.00 (€ 24,681.04). Other works by Charles van den Eycken have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 59,750.00 (€ 46,877.45) in October 2004 for the work Mischief.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Cat with her Kittens von Charles van den Eycken zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 32.500,00 (€ 24.681,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Charles van den Eycken haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 59.750,00 (€ 46.877,45) im Oktober 2004 für die Arbeit Mischief beobachtet.
