In the The House Sale auction, the work Portrait of a woman, bust-length, turned to the left changed hands for USD 900.00 (€ 672.95) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Sprague Pearce achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reading By The Shore in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 298,000.00 (€ 282,143.53).
