Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spring by Charles Sargeant Jagger was sold in the Modern/British & Irish Art auction at Christies in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,767.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Sargeant Jagger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maquette For The Driver, Royal Artillery Memorial, 1921-25 in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 422,400.00 (€ 611,205.76).

Die Arbeit Spring von Charles Sargeant Jagger wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Modern/British & Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.767,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Sargeant Jagger erzielen.
