In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Study for a War Memorial sold for GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,106.54) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Sargeant Jagger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maquette For The Driver, Royal Artillery Memorial, 1921-25 in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 422,400.00 (€ 611,205.76).
