Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Study for a War Memorial by Charles Sargeant Jagger was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in April 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,666.55). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Sargeant Jagger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maquette For The Driver, Royal Artillery Memorial, 1921-25 in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 422,400.00 (€ 611,205.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Study for a War Memorial von Charles Sargeant Jagger wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.666,55) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Sargeant Jagger erzielen.
