In November 2010 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British & Irish Art Including The Selwyn Demmy Collection of Works by L S Lowry, which included the work H.R.H. Prince of Wales by Charles Sargeant Jagger. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,924.98) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Sargeant Jagger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maquette For The Driver, Royal Artillery Memorial, 1921-25 in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 422,400.00 (€ 611,205.76).

Im November 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art Including The Selwyn Demmy Collection of Works by L S Lowry durch, in der auch die Arbeit H.R.H. Prince of Wales von Charles Sargeant Jagger zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.924,98) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Sargeant Jagger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maquette For The Driver, Royal Artillery Memorial, 1921-25 im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 422.400,00 (€ 611.205,76).
