Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A lady, in white dress, wearing a white bandeau in her long powdered curling hair, worn loosely over her shoulders by Charles Robertson was sold in the Important Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes auction at Christies in London in June 2008. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,501.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00.
