In November this year Bonhams in Edinburgh held the auction California Art, which included the work Countryside Landscape by Charles Reiffel. The »bidding war« ended at USD 38,400.00 (€ 35,203.52), 28% above the upper estimate. Other works by Charles Reiffel have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 72,500.00 (€ 62,521.56) in August 2018 for the work The Apple Barn.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 38.400,00 (€ 35.203,52) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
