Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Back Country Vista by Charles Reiffel was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,240.00 (€ 9,447.37). Admittedly, works by Charles Reiffel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Apple Barn in August 2018 with an auction result of USD 72,500.00 (€ 62,521.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Back Country Vista von Charles Reiffel wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 10.240,00 (€ 9.447,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Reiffel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Apple Barn im August 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.500,00 (€ 62.521,56).
