Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work The suitor by Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix for USD 9,400.00 (€ 10,452.57). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Nineteenth Century European Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three for tea in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 201,750.00 (€ 345,387.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The suitor von Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix für USD 9.400,00 (€ 10.452,57) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Nineteenth Century European Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three for tea im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 201.750,00 (€ 345.387,83).
