Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2004 Christies in New York held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work 'Enchantée' by Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 65,725.00 (€ 51,565.20). Admittedly, works by Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three for tea in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 201,750.00 (€ 345,387.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Enchantée' von Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 65.725,00 (€ 51.565,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three for tea im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 201.750,00 (€ 345.387,83).
