Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a mother, seated full-length in a garden, her daughter standing beside her holding a hoop by Charles Haslewood Shannon was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in August 2008. The price achieved of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,325.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Haslewood Shannon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rose and Blanche (Les Marmitons) in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 53,775.00 (€ 78,509.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a mother, seated full-length in a garden, her daughter standing beside her holding a hoop von Charles Haslewood Shannon wurde im August 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert.
