Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Femme Picasso by Charles Green Shaw was sold in the American Art auction at Bonhams in New York in November 2021. The price achieved of USD 21,562.50 (€ 19,103.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Green Shaw achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plastic Polygon in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 555,000.00 (€ 497,802.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Femme Picasso von Charles Green Shaw wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion American Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 21.562,50 (€ 19.103,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Green Shaw erzielen.
