Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Charles Green Shaw achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in May this year. In the American Art auction, the work An Organized Escape sold for USD 14,080.00 (€ 13,215.69) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Green Shaw achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plastic Polygon in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 555,000.00 (€ 497,802.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Green Shaw erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art wurde die Arbeit An Organized Escape für USD 14.080,00 (€ 13.215,69) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Green Shaw erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plastic Polygon im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 555.000,00 (€ 497.802,49).
