In the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, Maritime Art, Sporting & Wildlife Art auction, the work The quack doctor sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,267.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Green - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dancing Girls and Musicians, Coromandel, Madras, which sold at auction in September 2003 for GBP 11,950.00 (€ 12,036.91).

In der Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, Maritime Art, Sporting & Wildlife Art wurde die Arbeit The quack doctor für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.267,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Green mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dancing Girls and Musicians, Coromandel, Madras beobachtet, die im September 2003 für GBP 11.950,00 (€ 12.036,91) versteigert wurde.
