Admittedly, works by Charles Courtney Curran have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ladies on a Hill in April 2002 with an auction result of USD 207,500.00 (€ 230,504.33).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 56.129,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Courtney Curran auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ladies on a Hill im April 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 207.500,00 (€ 230.504,33).
