The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,201.02) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Courtney Curran have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ladies on a Hill in April 2002 with an auction result of USD 207,500.00 (€ 230,504.33).
