In the American Art auction, the work Primavera sold for USD 212,500.00 (€ 178,601.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Caryl Coleman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Azaleas And Apple Blossoms in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 2,281,000.00 (€ 1,465,938.30).

In der Auktion American Art wurde die Arbeit Primavera für USD 212.500,00 (€ 178.601,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Caryl Coleman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Azaleas And Apple Blossoms im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.281.000,00 (€ 1.465.938,30).
