In June 2020 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900, which included the work View Of The Pincio In Rome, With The Villa Medici And The Trinità Dei Monti by Charles Caryl Coleman. The auction ended at the price of EUR 20,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Caryl Coleman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Azaleas And Apple Blossoms in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 2,281,000.00 (€ 1,465,938.30).
