The work Icons of the Nile 3 by Chant Avedissian was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2007. The »bidding war« ended at USD 58,600.00 (€ 40,503.18), 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chant Avedissian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Icons Of The Nile in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,188,487.24).

Die Arbeit Icons of the Nile 3 von Chant Avedissian wurde im Oktober 2007 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 58.600,00 (€ 40.503,18) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chant Avedissian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Icons Of The Nile im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.188.487,24).
