This artwork by Chant Avedissian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in May this year. In the Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction, the work Kul Hal Yazool (This too shall pass) sold for USD 81,900.00 (€ 76,872.54) - well above the upper estimate of USD 45,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chant Avedissian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Icons Of The Nile in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,188,487.24).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Chant Avedissian erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art wurde die Arbeit Kul Hal Yazool (This too shall pass) für USD 81.900,00 (€ 76.872,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 45.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chant Avedissian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Icons Of The Nile im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.188.487,24).
