Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Sothebys in Doha held the auction Contemporary Art / Doha, which included the work Icons Of The Nile by Chant Avedissian. The price achieved of USD 200,000.00 (€ 179,179.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chant Avedissian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Icons Of The Nile in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,188,487.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in Doha die Auktion Contemporary Art / Doha durch, in der auch die Arbeit Icons Of The Nile von Chant Avedissian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 179.179,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chant Avedissian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Icons Of The Nile im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.188.487,24).
