The work Icons of the Nile by Chant Avedissian was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in March 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 100,800.00 (€ 118,414.03), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chant Avedissian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Icons Of The Nile in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,188,487.24).

Die Arbeit Icons of the Nile von Chant Avedissian wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 118.414,03) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chant Avedissian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Icons Of The Nile im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.188.487,24).
