Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Chana Orloff could be acquired at Christies in London in February 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Liseuse no.1 changed hands for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,708.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chana Orloff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torse in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 326,500.00 (€ 250,960.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chana Orloff konnte im Februar 2018 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Liseuse no.1 für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.708,42) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chana Orloff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torse im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 326.500,00 (€ 250.960,80).
