It achieved a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 17,618.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chana Orloff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torse in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 326,500.00 (€ 250,960.80).

Die Arbeit Ecuyère von Chana Orloff wurde im Februar 2016 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 17.618,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chana Orloff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torse im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 326.500,00 (€ 250.960,80).
