Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A small group of Interior Scenes (Four Works) by Celia Paul was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in London in September 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,403.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Celia Paul achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Mother Facing in October last year with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 58,715.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A small group of Interior Scenes (Four Works) von Celia Paul wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.403,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Celia Paul erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Mother Facing im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 58.715,44).
