Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecil Kennedy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 80,750.00 (€ 127,998.69).

Die Arbeit Camellias and Prunus blossom von Cecil Kennedy kam im November 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.335,00 (€ 4.839,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cecil Kennedy erzielen.
