Sold at the lower estimate price
The work From the series "Canaries", 2009 by Carsten Höller was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2018. The result of SEK 25,000.00 (€ 2,362.51) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carsten Höller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hippopotamus in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 198,000.00 (€ 130,374.66).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit From the series "Canaries", 2009 von Carsten Höller kam im April 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 25.000,00 (€ 2.362,51) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carsten Höller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hippopotamus im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 198.000,00 (€ 130.374,66).
