In April this year Christies in New York held the auction Modern American Art, which included the work Burn-Out by Carroll Cloar. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,880.00 (€ 43,369.57), 37% above the upper estimate. Other works by Carroll Cloar have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,499.82) in May 2017 for the work Lull In The Revolution.

Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Modern American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Burn-Out von Carroll Cloar zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 43.369,57) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Carroll Cloar haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 44.499,82) im Mai 2017 für die Arbeit Lull In The Revolution beobachtet.
