Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Particolare del monumento all'aviazione di oggi e di domani by Carmelo Cappello was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in April 2012. The price achieved of EUR 2,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carmelo Cappello achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'uomo nello spazio in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 30,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Particolare del monumento all'aviazione di oggi e di domani von Carmelo Cappello wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carmelo Cappello erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'uomo nello spazio im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.000,00.
