This work of art by Carlos Rojas could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art auction, the work Poseidon changed hands for USD 23,750.00 (€ 22,452.26) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Carlos Rojas have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2013 by the work without title at USD 47,500.00 (€ 34,911.07).
