Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, (from the series 'Signos y señales') by Carlos Rojas was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2016. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,998.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlos Rojas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 47,500.00 (€ 34,911.07).

Die Arbeit Untitled, (from the series 'Signos y señales') von Carlos Rojas kam im November 2016 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.998,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlos Rojas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2013 für USD 47.500,00 (€ 34.911,07) versteigert wurde.
