Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2014 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included the work Bird Face by Carlos Amorales. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,492.67). Other works by Carlos Amorales have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,724.81) in May 2017 for the work The Horny Ghost.

Im Mai 2014 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bird Face von Carlos Amorales zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.492,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Carlos Amorales haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.724,81) im Mai 2017 für die Arbeit The Horny Ghost beobachtet.
