Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Amorales Drawing Design & Unfinished Mask by Carlos Amorales for GBP 875.00 (€ 968.72). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online | London at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlos Amorales achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Horny Ghost in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,724.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Amorales Drawing Design & Unfinished Mask von Carlos Amorales für GBP 875,00 (€ 968,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlos Amorales erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Horny Ghost im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.724,81).
