In January 2003 Christies in New York held the auction 20TH CENTURY SELF-TAUGHT AND OUTSIDER ART, which included this untitled work by Carlo Zinelli. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,535.00 (€ 14,465.97), 29% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Zinelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled, 1957, which sold at auction in January 2019 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,652.87).

Im Januar 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 20TH CENTURY SELF-TAUGHT AND OUTSIDER ART durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Carlo Zinelli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.535,00 (€ 14.465,97) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Zinelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled, 1957 beobachtet, die im Januar 2019 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.652,87) versteigert wurde.
