Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Carlo Zinelli was sold in the Important American Furniture, Folk Art, Silver, Prints and auction at Christies in New York in January 2004. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,950.00 (€ 9,596.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carlo Zinelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, 1957 in January 2019 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,652.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Carlo Zinelli wurde im Januar 2004 in der Auktion Important American Furniture, Folk Art, Silver, Prints and bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.950,00 (€ 9.596,85) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Zinelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, 1957 im Januar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.652,87).
