Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2004 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Furniture, Folk Art, Silver, Prints and, which included this untitled work by Carlo Zinelli. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,535.00 (€ 12,475.91). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Zinelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled, 1957, which sold at auction in January 2019 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,652.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important American Furniture, Folk Art, Silver, Prints and durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Carlo Zinelli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.535,00 (€ 12.475,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Zinelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled, 1957 beobachtet, die im Januar 2019 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.652,87) versteigert wurde.
