Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contadini by Carlo Levi was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2007. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,976.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carlo Levi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alassio - Spiaggia in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 22,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Contadini von Carlo Levi kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.976,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Levi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alassio - Spiaggia im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.320,00.
