In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Paesaggio con alberi by Carlo Levi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,500.00 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Levi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alassio - Spiaggia in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 22,320.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paesaggio con alberi von Carlo Levi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.500,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Levi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alassio - Spiaggia im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.320,00.
