Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carlo Levi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Nudo sold for EUR 8,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Levi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alassio - Spiaggia, which sold at auction in December 2002 for EUR 22,320.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlo Levi erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Nudo für EUR 8.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Levi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alassio - Spiaggia beobachtet, die im Dezember 2002 für EUR 22.320,00 versteigert wurde.
