Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Alberi by Carlo Levi was sold in the Post war and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in November 2006. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,060.00 15% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Levi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alassio - Spiaggia, which sold at auction in December 2002 for EUR 22,320.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Alberi von Carlo Levi wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Post war and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.060,00 und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Levi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alassio - Spiaggia beobachtet, die im Dezember 2002 für EUR 22.320,00 versteigert wurde.
