Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lago Di Nemi, A View At Twilight With Figures And A Flock Of Goats Resting In The Foreground by Carlo Labruzzi was sold in the Old Masters including Portrait Miniatures from the Pohl-Ströher Collection auction at Sothebys in London in May 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,977.47). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Labruzzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Temple of Minerva, Rome; and The Tomb of Cecilia Metella on the via Appia, which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 46,850.00 (€ 55,985.68).

Die Arbeit Lago Di Nemi, A View At Twilight With Figures And A Flock Of Goats Resting In The Foreground von Carlo Labruzzi wurde im Mai 2020 in der Auktion Old Masters including Portrait Miniatures from the Pohl-Ströher Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.977,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Labruzzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Temple of Minerva, Rome; and The Tomb of Cecilia Metella on the via Appia beobachtet, die im November 2010 für GBP 46.850,00 (€ 55.985,68) versteigert wurde.
