Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A landscape with figures on a path by Lake Nemi by Carlo Labruzzi was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 15,120.00 (€ 18,034.99). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Labruzzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Temple of Minerva, Rome; and The Tomb of Cecilia Metella on the via Appia, which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 46,850.00 (€ 55,985.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A landscape with figures on a path by Lake Nemi von Carlo Labruzzi kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 15.120,00 (€ 18.034,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Labruzzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Temple of Minerva, Rome; and The Tomb of Cecilia Metella on the via Appia beobachtet, die im November 2010 für GBP 46.850,00 (€ 55.985,68) versteigert wurde.
