Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2007 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art and Orientalist Art, which included the work Courting Couple, Naples by Carlo Brancaccio. The price achieved of USD 23,750.00 (€ 16,415.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Brancaccio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mount Vesuvius from Procida, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 36,600.00 (€ 54,312.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art and Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Courting Couple, Naples von Carlo Brancaccio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 16.415,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Brancaccio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mount Vesuvius from Procida beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 36.600,00 (€ 54.312,56) versteigert wurde.
