In May 2013 VAN HAM held the auction Alte Kunst, which included the work Blick über den Bosporus auf Istanbul by Carlo Brancaccio. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,451.00 23% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Brancaccio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mount Vesuvius from Procida in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,600.00 (€ 54,312.56).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2013 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Alte Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blick über den Bosporus auf Istanbul von Carlo Brancaccio zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.451,00 und damit 23% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Brancaccio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mount Vesuvius from Procida im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.600,00 (€ 54.312,56).
