In June 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Masters, which included the work Two Arcadian River Landscapes With Waterfalls And Figures In The Foreground by Carlo Bonavia. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,615.71), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Carlo Bonavia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An extensive Italianate river landscape with travellers and soldiers in the foreground, a Roman aqueduct beyond in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 119,250.00 (€ 194,909.42).

Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Arcadian River Landscapes With Waterfalls And Figures In The Foreground von Carlo Bonavia zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.615,71) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Bonavia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An extensive Italianate river landscape with travellers and soldiers in the foreground, a Roman aqueduct beyond im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 119.250,00 (€ 194.909,42).
