In October 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Old Master Drawings and Engravings, which included the work The miracle of the cripple by Carlo Alberto Baratta. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,100.00 57% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Alberto Baratta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study for the Presentation of the Virgin in January 2021 with an auction result of USD 15,120.00 (€ 12,459.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 57 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Old Master Drawings and Engravings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The miracle of the cripple von Carlo Alberto Baratta zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.100,00 und damit 57% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Alberto Baratta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study for the Presentation of the Virgin im Januar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 12.459,83).
