In the Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work 'Cupid and Crane' sold for USD 79,000.00 (€ 53,785.40) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. This high result makes 'Cupid and Crane' the most expensive artwork by Carl Paul Jennewein that we have observed at auctions so far.
