Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carl Milles could be acquired at Bukowski in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Winter Sale auction, the work Wild boar changed hands for SEK 75,000.00 (€ 6,746.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Milles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Naiad and dolphin in December 2010 with an auction result of SEK 1,100,000.00 (€ 122,609.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Milles konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bukowski für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Winter Sale wechselte die Arbeit Wild boar für SEK 75.000,00 (€ 6.746,07) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Milles erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Naiad and dolphin im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.100.000,00 (€ 122.609,09).
