The work Horse's head by Carl Milles was sold in the Important Winter Sale auction at Bukowski in December this year. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 38,000.00 (€ 3,418.01), 27% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Milles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Naiad and dolphin in December 2010 with an auction result of SEK 1,100,000.00 (€ 122,609.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Horse's head von Carl Milles wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Important Winter Sale bei Bukowski versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 38.000,00 (€ 3.418,01) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Milles erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Naiad and dolphin im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.100.000,00 (€ 122.609,09).
